Why You Need a Transport Tank

Water cartage is essential wherever there is no fixed water supply. Construction sites, remote farms, forestry operations, outdoor events: anywhere water is needed but there is no mains connection. A water cartage tank on a truck or trailer solves this problem.

A polyethylene tank is lighter than steel, does not rust, and requires no internal lining. Flexi-Link Technology provides material flexibility under load: the tank does not crack from vibration and impacts when travelling on unsealed roads. A transport tank endures thousands of cycles of vibration, impacts and acceleration, and Flexi-Link prevents stress cracking, which is the leading cause of transport tank failure.

Common applications for transport tanks:

Common Applications for Transport Tanks:

The range spans from 50L to 15,000L. Small tanks (50L to 900L) are designed for utes and small trailers. Large tanks (1,000L and above) suit trucks and flat deck vehicles. All tanks are slip on (slip on water tank): removable, mounted onto the deck.

Compact tanks: 50L to 900L

Tanks from 50L to 900L for utes, quad bikes and small trailers. Vented lid (250 mm for smaller tanks, 350 mm for 550L and 900L). Tank outlet: 20 mm (50L, 100L), 25 mm (200L, 400L), 32 mm (550L, 900L). UV-stabilised polyethylene, food grade to AS2070:1999.

Standard tanks: 1,000L to 10,000L

Tanks from 1,000L to 10,000L for trucks (truck water tank) and large trailers. Vented hinged lid 450 mm for easy filling. Fittings vary by capacity:

  • 1,000L to 1,500L: 1.5" Poly flanged fitting
  • 2,000L to 3,000L: 2" Poly flanged fitting
  • 3,400L to 10,000L: 2" Croc-loc stainless steel bolted fitting

Included at no extra cost: pin mounting kit and poly tank fitting.

Large tanks: 13,000L and 15,000L

The largest transport tanks in the range. The 13,000L is available in a Low Profile variant. The 15,000L provides maximum capacity. Both are fitted with 3" Croc-loc stainless steel bolted fitting. 450 mm lid. Designed for flat deck trucks with appropriate payload capacity.

Low Profile Transport Tanks

Three tanks are available in a Low Profile variant: 13,000L, 400L and 200L. A lower centre of gravity improves vehicle stability when the tank is loaded. The 400L and 200L Low Profile models suit utes with limited tray height.

Steel Frames

Steel frames for mounting transport tanks on flat deck trucks and tippers. All frames are hot dip galvanised for long-term durability. Tie-down and lifting eyes for securing and crane handling. Pump plate included.

Skid Frames

Skid Frames for tanks from 2,000L to 15,000L. Protect the tank and provide mounting on any flat surface. Frames for 2,000L to 6,000L include forklift pockets. The design suits most standard tippers and flat deck trucks.

Twist Skid Frames

Twist Skid Frames for tanks from 7,000L to 15,000L. Secured via twist-locks on flat deck trucks. Fast and reliable mounting and removal. Twistlock positions can be customised to suit your specific vehicle.
