Kerikeri Wastewater Treatment Plant

Kerikeri Wastewater Treatment Plant

Who: Ventia (Broadspectrum) for the Far North District Council

Where: Kerikeri, Northland

Products: 25,000L XPRESS Industrial Tanks with custom welded fittings and seismic restraints with PS1

Why: The Kerikeri Wastewater Treatment Plant Project is the largest infrastructure project ever undertaken by the Far North District Council. The council engaged our strategic partners Ventia to modernise wastewater management at Kerikeri and replace the decades-old plant on Shepherd Road. This plant had been operating over capacity for some time and was no longer able to treat wastewater to the required standard. Ventia reached out to Promax to provide products that would allow for better wastewater management now, and into the future.

What: Part of the project required the deployment of heavy-duty tanks with a vast array of fittings, bellmouth pipework, and seismic restraints supported with a PS1 delivered to site. After consulting with Ventia, Promax supplied 25,000 litre XPRESS Industrial Tanks with all the necessary accessories.

These tanks are used for potable water and recycled water systems. They’re designed to handle large volumes, thanks to their capacity as well as increased wall thickness and strength to meet specific project applications and/or gravity weight requirements.

Promax is proud to have been involved in such a significant and transformative project. When size counts, we’re able to deliver.
