Delivery & Receiving Your Order
Getting your order to site requires some planning. Here's how delivery works, what access is needed, and what to do when your product arrives.
Yes, we deliver throughout New Zealand. Large tanks travel on our own specialised trucks. Smaller products are delivered via our appointed freight carriers. We cannot deliver to PO boxes.
Above-ground tanks 10,000L and larger are delivered free to your property on our purpose-built trucks. Truck and trailer access is required — ensure the route is clear of trees, power lines, or other obstructions. Where full access isn't possible, delivery will be made to the closest safe point. A contact person and phone number must be provided. If a Hiab is required this can be arranged but will incur an additional charge.
Tanks from 450L to 5,000L, slimline tanks, and accessories are delivered via Promax or our appointed carriers. Delivery to a dealer or carrier depot is freight-free for most products. Delivery direct to site typically incurs a freight and Hiab charge. Check with our team for the terms that apply to your region.
Before signing, check all items are present and undamaged. A signature is required for all deliveries, and once signed, responsibility transfers to you — inspect carefully before accepting.
Notify us within 24 hours at support@promax.co.nz and retain all damaged packaging for insurance purposes. We'll work with our freight company to resolve the issue and offer a replacement or full refund once the claim is confirmed.
Installation, Returns & Warranty
Once your product is on site, here's what you need to know about getting it installed, returning a product, and protecting your purchase with a registered warranty.
We don't install directly, but we work with recommended installers across New Zealand. Visit our Recommended Installers page to find someone in your region. Installation guides are also available in our Downloads section.
No, accessories are not pre-fitted before shipping. We recommend engaging a qualified installer to fit accessories on site. Find one in your area on our Recommended Installers page.
All returns require a Return Authority form approved by Promax within 30 days of invoice. A restocking fee of 15% (or $100, whichever is greater) applies unless the return is due to our error. All returns incur a freight charge. Contact us immediately to begin the process.
All warranties are pro-rata, with length varying by product — from 1 year on fittings and accessories to 20 years on some large above-ground tanks. The warranty covers the tank shell; lids, fittings, and connections are covered separately.
Register at promax.co.nz within 30 days of purchase. Warranties not registered within this period may not be valid. For warranty enquiries contact support@promax.co.nz.
